The Macula session on 15th May, 2015, at the 'Celebrate Retina Celebrate Life (CRCL)' Conference to be held at Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai,will see top ophthalmologists and retina specialists speaking on several aspects of the macula.

Macula, an oval-shaped pigmented area near the center of the retina, is responsible for detailed central vision. It helps eyes perform central vision tasks such as reading. It is about 5.5mm in diameter and absorbs the excess ultraviolet rays entering the eyes, thereby acting as a natural sunblock.

The session will start from 2pm and continue until 3:45 pm. It will have Dr. P. N. Nagpaland Dr. Ajay Dudani as its Chairperson and Co-chairperson respectively. Dr. Mukesh Porwal and Dr. Prashant Agnihotri will act as moderators. Given below are the topics of discussion along with the speakers.
