Dr Somdutt Prasad — MS, FRCSEd, FRCOphth, FACS and MFMLM — is currently a consultant ophthalmologist and retinal specialist at AMRI and i4vision. Before settling in Kolkata, India, Dr Prasad served as a consultant ophthalmologist in several hospitals in the UK where he was performing nearly 300 vitrectomy surgeries a year and treating about 1000 patients suffering from various retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, venous occlusions and others.
