There are four sections in IELTS writing speaking listening and reading.

Let us see a few ways in which we can improve our writing skills.
Practicing is the most important thing in writing. The more you practice the better it is. The more articles you write the better it is for you. Firstly it will help you improve and also find your mistakes.
Getting exposure to your mistakes is very important so you can improve your mistakes and rectify them. Spotting and finding errors is very important for scoring well in writing. A feedback loop can be formed while practicing writing and corrections can be done. It is important to find common mistakes that occur regularly so we can reduce our number of errors.
Also working and improving vocabulary is very essential to score well. Vocabulary can help in all the sections. So working on vocabulary building is absolutely necessary. More advanced and good words should be used.
It is also important to present your essay in a well organized and systematic manner. It must not look much unorganized. It should have good flow of thoughts and a well defined structure. It should look very neat and clean. Hence to make it look organized firstly there should be a very strong and good introduction. Introduction makes the first impression. Also after that there should be a body 1, body 2 and then a strong conclusion.
So the sequence should like a good introduction, the body 1, then body 2 and then a good strong conclusion.
Another important thing is to write in a neat and clean handwriting that is understood by the examiner easily.
It is a also important to use some blanks and blank spaces after paragraphs It and a few lines. It looks good and it is pleasing to the eye.
Let us take an example how we can do this:
First is the introduction: It should be strong and very impressive
1st sentence: This is like almost rephrasing the task text, not exactly but almost similar.
2nd sentence: according to your topic or the main context of the task.
3rd sentence: This should be a brief idea about your essay and topic, but not your opinion.
4th sentence: This sentence should be basically your opinion about the topic and what your views are about the essay.

5th sentence: This sentence onwards the topic 1st body starts and the consequent lines 6th 7th and 8th should justify the body and your opinion.

9th sentence: This sentence introduces the second body of the text and the consequent sentences that is the 10th 11th and 12th should justify this body.

13th sentence: Here again your opinion should be mentioned again and a good conclusion.
14th sentence: since this is the end it should be summary of all the points mentioned before.

So when an essay is written in the above format when a few blank spaces or lines are kept in between it makes the essay look good and neat and clean too.
