Gyaannirudra successfully launched its Career Awareness Series as part of RudraTalks with the hosting of first live event on “How to Plan your Dreams to turn them into reality.” The event was conducted in an online mode and it went live on YouTube. Mr. Shekhar Bhattacharjee, Founder, and CEO of Great place to study, DALHAM Foundation, was invited as the guest for the event. Mr. Raunak Gupta, the Creator, and crafter of Gyaannirudra had a deep discussion with Mr. Shekhar. The discussion revolved around how to plan your dreams strategically and the importance of dreams in our life.
About the event: The event was planned in form of a Q&A round where Mr. Shekhar answered many questions like – what is the importance of having a dream at the very beginning of an individual’s career? How should one plan strategically for their dreams? How to become successful in your objectives? and how we have changed our perspective towards education in the past few years? How has globalization impacted the economy of the country and thus the skills in demand? What are the interlinks between the past and today?
Mr. Shekhar explained and answered these questions with the help of many examples and experiences from his own life. He talked about the importance of having a dream and working hard to pursue it. He also spoke about success; success is not just defined by your technical skills, but it also depends on your creativity in thinking and executing your dreams differently. He said we need to enhance and broaden our thinking and think creatively rather than just thinking logically. Then he talked about his interests in history, philosophy and economics, and the importance of these subjects as it enhances our ability to think differently and interlink them with the present scenario of the education system.
He told everyone has one unique characteristic without which we cannot live. So, we should strategically plan our work to achieve those dreams. We should divide our goals into short-term and long-term goals and then make our plans accordingly to achieve those goals. Short-term goals can be qualitative or quantified dreams (skills you want to learn) that we want to accomplish in the next 5 years. Similarly, long-term goals can be the position we wish to achieve in the next 10 or 20 years.

The discussion was very deep and enhancing, and it aimed to shape the young minds of the nation to make the right decision for their career and life.
