Summary: Manitoba issued 223 letters of interest in the recent draw. In the new 142nd Manitoba PNP draws, the Manitoba government issued 223 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to MPNP candidates. Through the MPNP's Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, 156 LAAs were issued. Candidates with a score of 739 on the skilled worker scale were invited to participate. Applicants were only permitted to submit Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas if they were exclusively registered through the MPNP in a Strategic Recruitment drive and had fully qualified IRCC Express Entry profile.

The MPNP conducted a thorough search for 64 talented workers in international countries.

Manitoba's PNP is one of only a few area-based programmes in the country. Some people may have received a higher score than the lowest-ranked person, yet they claim not to have received an application letter.
