BC PNP conducts a new draw for Tech and Targeted NOCs

Summary: 100 IT professionals and over 30+ invites were shared to certain NOC were invited to apply for a provincial nomination in British Columbia. Applicants must be registered in one of the 29 qualifying occupations and hold a valid job offer for the Tech draw. Applicants who are acknowledged will be given a designation affirmation from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.

Recently targeted draws for candidates who meet the prerequisites for a variety of National Occupational Classifications (NOCs) that are in demand in the province, such as those in the healthcare and technology industries have been held by the province of British Columbia (BC). The new PNP draw in BC is open to targeted and technological NOCs.

A provincial nomination in British Columbia was open to 100 IT experts. For students from abroad and in-demand computer professionals, BC PNP Tech is a fast-track immigration program. Candidates must hold a legitimate work offer that is valid for at least a year and be registered in one of the 29 qualified occupations. When a candidate is approved, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issue them a nomination confirmation that they can use to submit a permanent residency application.

Recently targeted draws for candidates who meet the prerequisites for a variety of National Occupational Classifications (NOCs) that are in demand in the province, such as those in the healthcare and technology industries, have been held by the province of British Columbia (BC). This week, each targeted category had to have a minimum SIRS score of 60; for some categories, less than 5 applications were invited.

• There are 7 healthcare jobs and 21 early childhood educators (NOC 4214).
• For other targeted NOCs, less than 5 candidates were invited (NOCs 3114 and 3213)
