The province of British Columbia held its latest BC PNP draw on October 13, 2020, issuing invitations to 417 candidates to the deserving candidates who submitted their application under the Skilled Immigration and Express Entry streams. If a candidate wishes to apply for the BC PNP, he/she must have a valid profile in the BC PNP’s online portal and must get registered under the SIRS (Skills Immigration Registration System).

The applicant’s profile is then evaluated on the basis of certain stipulated parameters such as age, language proficiency, level of education, work experience, close connections in the province of British Columbia and arranged employment. If the applicant is approved, they can make use of the provincial nomination to apply for Canada’s Permanent residence with IRCC under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.

The minimum score of the candidates who were sent an invitation in this latest draw was somewhere between 75 and 94. The British Columbia always sent invitations to the candidates who have the highest scores. Post that, they nominated successful applicants to apply to IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) for Permanent Residence.

Those who have received an invitation in this latest BC PNP draw have 60-days-time to apply for Canada’s Permanent Residence and accomplish their dream of settling permanently in Canada. In the latest draw held on October 13, 2020 by the province of British Columbia, it has been found that there were certain occupations that were impacted negatively due to the corona crisis. The corona crisis has given a major jolt to the entire world.

The 31 occupations that were impacted negatively in the province of British Columbia are 0621, 0631, 0632, 0651, 3236, 6211, 6311, 6313, 6321, 6322, 6341, 6421, 6511, 6512, 6513, 6521, 6522, 6523, 6524, 6525, 6531, 6532, 6533, 6562, 6564, 6611, 6621, 6711, 6721, 6722, and 6731.
