NOVEMBER, 2014, NEW DELHI: Appliancemart.in is making great strides in the business of online shopping for kitchen appliances. This was stated by the CEO of the company in a press meet organized in the city.

The CEO revealed that sales were up by 25% and market share by 30%. And the figures were moving up rapidly, he pointed out. Addressing a gathering of the online, print and broadcast media, the CEO described how the company had evolved over the years.

The portal is a member of the Jindal group. 1982 was the starting year of the company and the first product line was gas cock assemblies - a key technical, precision engineered component of LPG gas stoves launched by Jindal gas Appliances (P) Ltd.

In 1986, the company became Jindal Home Products manufacturing LPG/ Biogas stoves, Cooktops and gas tables. In 1989, manufacturing was extended to Press cum fabrication producing bodies of gas stoves, rings for pan support, commercial and industrial burners, etc. In 1999, the company expanded to the production of bulk kitchen equipment for canteens, hospitals and large kitchens.

But, it was in 2013, that the company truly arrived. “We set up Appliancemart.in – an online platform for sale of kitchen appliances. Today Jindal Gas appliances are right at the top for making kitchen appliances,” said the CEO.

Another top executive added, “Appliancemart.in connects the manufacturers of kitchen appliances with customers. This has two advantages. One is that problems faced by customers are quickly and meaningfully resolved by our Customer relations executives, who connect manufacturer with customer. Secondly, regular and direct feedback on products submitted to the Research and Development wing of the portal helps us to improve product line and bring in necessary innovation.”
Today, the CEO was proud to point out that the company is operational with progressive, infrastructural, in-house facilities to manufacture any type of kitchen appliances.

The current ranges of appliances made by the company include Gas stoves, Hobs, Meethi Angeethis, Chimney and combo offers. Small appliance collection includes hand blender, Mixer-juicer-grinder, lighter, kettle, pressing iron, cylinder trolley, toaster and rice cooker.
“Our collection of kitchen appliances is for the discerning customer. Buying kitchen appliances is an important and long-term investment for the kitchen,” pointed out the CEO.

The decision depends on a number of factors as pointed out by the executive. First consideration is your requirement.
