New Book: Culture Is The Bass: 7 Principles For Developing A Culture That Works!

Monday July 25, 2016 - USA, Maryland, Olney - New Book: Culture Is The Bass: 7 Principles For Developing A Culture That Works!
Gerald J. Leonard is happy to announce his new book, “Culture Is The Bass: 7 Principles For Developing A Culture That Works!” which is already available at Amazon.

The book focuses on helping organizations create a true competitive advantage by cultivating a good culture of Project Portfolio Management, a culture that delivers a standard of excellence in strategy implementation and execution that produces and exceeds stakeholders’ expectations.

The book walks the reader through how organizations can achieve harmony and a balanced or unified vision in which every employee, including the Management, understands the big picture and are focused on achieving the organization’s objectives rather than being buried in their own processes. The author understands that Culture and Organizational Leadership are key factors in driving a business to profitability.

Gerald uses music analogy throughout the book to help drive the point home. This has worked well with many readers, as Shep Hyken says, “I love the analogy/metaphor of music being compared to business. There are lots of similarities, as you show us. As a musician myself, I've often thought about how the two are similar - and how interesting it would be to create a speech, or in your case a book, around the topic.” Shep Hyken is the Wall Street Journal and New York Times Best-Selling Author of “The Amazement Revolution” and “Amaze Every Customer Every Time.” He’s also a Customer Service Expert and Keynote Speaker.

Another reader, Darlene T. Carver, says, “Gerald, you created a masterpiece. Using music as the metaphor for culture opened up my mind, and it is so true in the business world. I never equated music and business, but I now see the direct correlation.”

In the book, the reader will discover how to create a shared vision for their team, and how a company can perform like a World Class Orchestra and receive a standing ovation from its employees and customers.

Being a Strategic Portfolio Management expert, the author has laid out in the book an 8 step process for implementing change and creating buy-In, and a 9 step process for developing stories that will touch the heads, hearts and hands of the staff to optimize their performance by bringing a Culture Change.
