Anirban Sarkar discusses opportunities for Indian Industries in Arab World at a press conference held by Pune Union of Working Journalists at Patrakar Bhavan, Pune.

 
There’s a pool of opportunities for Indian job seekers, entrepreneurs in Arab World said Anirban Sarkar at the Press Conference held by Pune Union of Working Journalists at Patrakar Bhavan, Pune.

“I am planning to expand my businesses in the Arab World in coming future and also encouraging today’s generation to work in this region for much wider experience”, said Sarkar at Patrakar Bhavan.

Anirban Sarkar is the President at India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture.

Anirban Sarkar shared his views about ongoing business, trading and employment opportunities in the Arab World which encompass countries like Jordan, Syria, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and 15 more.

“This is a right time to expand,” Sarkar added.

He mentioned that the policies and environment in Arab countries are getting positive for small scale or medium scale businesses wanting to expand their business there.

As the chief at Chamber, he assured that people from India would be surely assisted for their entrepreneurial and employment-related needs.

The conference was attended by a number of journalists from the media world, including The Times of India, India Times, Business Standard, Sakal, ETV, ABP Maza etc.

He still believes that basic trade policies & infrastructure in India needs to be improvised and thus he expects changes in these basic things here in India so that more and more businesses would turn to invest here.

“India needs 10 cities with best in class infrastructure to attract bigger foreign investments”, he prominently mentioned.

Talking about the limitations of growth in India, he mentioned that India is facing the problem of supply and demand and thus there is a wave of saturation of products and their manufacturing.

“The Arab world is offering much more remuneration to the Indian engineers, doctors, architects & skilled technicians but these are not the only fields where Indians are needed. And that’s why more Indian businesses are choosing to move out of India.”

He mentioned that half of the Arabian empire is built by Indians and Indians are hugely respected by Arabians.

Many journalists preferred to ask questions regarding the problems and cases like frauds and mistreatment to Indian employees & workers, Sarkar answered the questions very efficiently mentioning, “Yes, there were a lot of cases like these with Indians but now that the Arabian rulers are getting aware of the fact, they are thinking of introducing some new rules and regulations to avoid such incidents.”

Sarkar also talked about the issues like security for people in the Arab world and mentioned, “There were some tensions in the recent past but the local authorities and government bodies are ensuring safety for all.”
