Suhel Seth is one the persons with multitasking ability. He is a successful businessman, an influencing writer, a keynote speaker, and a fabulous theatre artist. He has excelled in all his fields and stands in an exceptional place. Right from the beginning to this position, he has crossed a long way. He is an example of a self-reliant person and an inspiration for many people.

He was born in the City of Joy, Calcutta, in 1963. As he was in a well-to-do family, he completed his schooling in some reputed education institutions like La Martiniere, Calcutta, and St Joseph’s College, Nainital. He then joined Jadavpur University, where he did his Bachelors of Arts in English Honors and Masters of Arts in International Relations. He was also enrolled in the Advanced Management Program (AMP) provided by Harvard Business School. He is a member of Harvard Business School Consultants.

Advertising Career

On graduating from the Jadavpur University, he was recruited as a Contract Advertiser at Hindustan Thompson Associates, now called the JWT. He had some disagreement with the administration and quit his job. He then joined Response India, which was founded by the chairman Ram Roy. After some years, he partnered with his brother, Swapan, and founded an advertising agency called Equus in 1996. With the help of both, his hard work and smart work, he earned himself a reputation soon and worked as a part of the advertising campaign with his mentor, Sen, for the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. With all the experience gained, he founded his own company Counseling.

Author

Being a master in handling words, Suhel Seth has written books that will always be cherished by the aspirants. His first book, Into Your Face, is a collection of all the interviews he has done and his columns. The book portrays various dimensions of the personalities. His other book, Get to the Top, had become a trend-setter. The book explains the importance of cherishing your work circle and maintaining success. In addition to these, he has also co-authored two books. One with RX Laxman and Khushwant Singh called, Kalighat to Calcutta, describing the beauty of Calcutta in detail. The other with Shantanu Guha Roy, The Target, which portrays the history and pride of Jignesh Shah.

Theatre experience

Suhel Seth was fond of acting, which made him star in some Bollywood films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Guzaarish, Calendar Girls, and Rog. He has also worked in 135 English plays and a part of Dramatic Society.
