To be Dated:Andy Lazris received his BA in History at the prestigious Brown University and a medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia. Currently, he practices primary care as well as geriatric medicine in Maryland.

He runs a primary care practice to provide care specifically for elderly patients during the pandemic. He has been working diligently on the front lines amidst the pandemic.

His literary interests have led him to write extensively, including fiction and nonfiction books. He also writes a variety of articles and op-ed pieces with help from nonfiction partners. Andy Lazris’ venture into curating exclusive 3D book experiences has garnered a lot ofcritical acclaim and attention. Put simply, a 3D book has songs weaved into it. The infusion of music into fiction amplifies the reading experience. He has released two fiction books about a variety of topics with two more on the way soon, and several of them are 3D.

His most recent 3D release is The Geriatrics Vengeance Club and comes with 12 original songs which can be found on his website and on various music sites, such as Spotify and Apple Music. Relying on his own experience and extensive research, the story takes us through the first summer of the pandemic, but from a comic perspective. It follows the journey of lovable Doctor Ben Polton—the protagonist—who loses both his job and sanity while fighting COVID-19. Fed up with the “cure” for the raging pandemic, he goes on tour with his elderly patients without any masks, on a self-proclaimed adventure to maintain his sanity and sense of self. It is truly a remarkable journey of finding love and lost purpose in life once again and an inspiring read. It also features songs written by Lazris himself.

Three Brothers from Virginia is an epic novel set during the Civil War and follows two African-American brothers and their Caucasian brother as they prosper and find love on their insulated farm, until the Civil War strips them away and into an often vicious and hateful world.
He has also written a two-book series that highlights about Yadel and Clausius, who are two Roman Jews who fight zealism and bring us through the past and present; Yadel the Dreidel is the first book where the author explores Magical Realism, a genre close to Lazris’s heart.

The imaginative Andy Lazris will soon release his next 3D book which also comes with twelve original songs. Titled The Great Stupidity, it is classified as a black comedy. Set amidst the Black Death, the main character, a blacksmith, meets several renowned historical figures on the way, including the Great Frenchie, the Pope, the flagellates, and several renegade Jews.
