There is a class of people who believe in using only precious metals and stone in rings because according to this school of thought, rings made from precious metals and valuable stones last longer and their luster is not damaged even after common and prolonged usage. However still other people think that using and buying rings in discount is much feasible especially when it comes to their daily usage because even if they get lost or stolen or damaged, there is not much loss to the wearer as compared to that if he or she is wearing a costly element. Basically this is one of the major reasons why the trend is shifting among people to wear the less costly and less valuable jewelry especially the rings and earrings.
