Manchester is famous for its uniquely designed buildings. Many of these buildings are ancient while many others are modern but built on old styles and themes. In addition to this, the buildings which have been built on the new designs are also seen in Manchester and these too are having a unique design and layout. The architecture of Manchester demonstrates a rich variety of architectural styles. The main role in the unique architecture has been played by the architects south Manchester who have amalgamated the new and old concepts of building and came up with the uniquely designed masterpieces.
Various buildings of Manchester
There are several masterpieces in Manchester which have become the identity of this city. In fact there are a lot of places in this city which are worth seeing and worth following as far as their architecture are concerned. Basically it is among the first industrial cities that have ever evolved in England. The main places which are mostly noticed over here are the ware houses, cotton mills, railway ducts, canals and many other ancient buildings which still stand today reminding of the glorious past of the field of architecture. In fact many people perceive the architecture of this city almost similar to the one which is constructed by the architects Cheshire. However it is clear that the kinds of buildings present in Manchester are of industrial kind and they are very different from the other domestic or commercial buildings in the rest of England.
The main difference which is marked in the buildings of Manchester is that this city is the product of Industrial Revolution. That is why the buildings built after the Industrial Revolution, have got a specific imprint of those times. This architecture has also inspired the architects Liverpool and therefore the imprint of building styles of Manchester has also been observed in any other parts of England as well.
Uniqueness of architecture in Manchester
Most of the buildings in Manchester have got the influence of the Industrial Revolution especially those which were built after this revolution. Although other cities were not industrial as that of Manchester but they still had an inspiration and imprint from the buildings and architecture of Manchester. This is especially evident from the Architect Bowden where a lot of buildings have been built based on this architectural rule. A lot of wealth has been spent on the architecture of Manchester. This is symbolized by the unique styles and building of Manchester.
