There are various modern techniques of printing and 3D printing is a very modern and famously known technique of printing these days. It is also known famously by the name of additive manufacturing. Basically the procedure of 3D printing refers to a series of procedures in which a three-dimensional object is designed and synthesized. It is also referred to as additive manufacturing because in this procedure layers after layers of material are added successively and this layering is added under the control of computer. Finally, the shape or form of the object is obtained in the desired way. Let’s take FFF 3D printing technology for instance. In order to carry out printing of this kind, a specific 3D printing filament is required because it cannot be done with any ordinary printing device.
Geometrical arrangement of the designed objects
As far the designing and pattern making of these objects is concerned, there can be different shapes and geometrical patterns of the objects which are designed under 3 dimensional patterns. One can create almost any shape and geometry of the object and there are different accessory programs and data for performing this task. Usually the 3D model of the object is created by means of the 3D model data or alternatively an electronic data source for the designing of the object can also be employed to accomplish the task of 3D printing. Among the electronic sources applied in the working of 3D printing filaments, the most important one is the Additive Manufacturing file also shortly known as AMF.
Scope of 3D filament printing technology
It has been claimed by certain experts and futuristic professionals like Jeremy Rifkin that the technique of 3D printing or usage of the AM signals including the FDM filament is marking the beginning of a new era in which the future generations may be able to observe the rise and progressing age of third industrial revolution. This may also be followed by the development of a complete assembly of production lines which was seen initially to dominate the industries and fields in the end of 19th century.
References of 3D printing
As far as the technique and source of 3D printing is concerned, it involves the deposition of a binder material on a powder spread bed. This is done by using the printer heads of the inkjet printer. Specific 3D Printing Material is also required in this case. This addition is done layer wise until the desired content is obtained.
