Coconuts, honey, black pepper, arecanut, mango ginger are a few natural products that are grown in the nook and corner of Andaman Plantations. Popularly known as starvation fruit, noni is the natural medicine that can cure chronic diseases of the human beings. They are used for the treatment of anxiety, diabetes, flu, cold, blood pressure and so on. The use of this fruit in cancer research is also evident.

Clove is a popular spice that is widely recognized amongst the people for medicinal as well as culinary qualities. In the initial stage, the color of the flower buds becomes pale that slowly turns green in color in due course of time and ultimately these buds develop into red colored clove buds. They are picked when they become almost two centimeters in length.

Another popular product of Andaman Plantations is the cinnamon that belongs to Lauraceae tree family and its leaves and barks are known for their aromatic elements. It can be used for cooking and also for anti-bacterial as well as anti-fungal properties. The innermost bark of the tree can be scraped, cleaned as well as dried up properly to get this valuable spice. It is produced once in a year and then the bark is also allowed to grow in size.
