Prominent suburban law firm Kelleher + Holland, LLC has filed lawsuits today on behalf of three victims of Aspen Dental Clinic in Crestwood who were secretly videotaped by hidden cameras placed in an employee bathroom by Armani Alexander, a dental hygienist employed at the clinic.
Investigation performed by attorneys at Kelleher + Holland, LLC revealed that, prior to being hired by Aspen Dental, Alexander had been convicted of a crime while he was a student at Southern Illinois University. The crime involved him sneaking into unknown female dormitory rooms in the middle of the night, standing over them and dousing them with an unknown liquid substance. The initial charges against Alexander regarding the hidden cameras were classified as misdemeanors, but on December 14th those charges were upgraded to felony offenses. Alexander now faces 11 felony counts of unauthorized video recording.
The lawsuits filed by Kelleher + Holland, LLC seek monetary damages because of the negligent actions of Aspen Dental. The victims hope their actions will change the culture of the clinic so that workplace safety is not sacrificed for productivity and profit.
