Pune, August 3, 2024 – In a significant milestone in the field of widening horizones of Indian Classical Music education, Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal (ABGMVM) and Bal Kalyan Sanstha, Pune, have collaboratively launched a comprehensive curriculum for differently-abled students in singing, instrumental music, and dance, spanning from the preliminary level to the Visharad (advanced) level. This inaugural event marks the first of its kind in India and was held today at Bal Kalyan Sanstha, Pune.

The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Padma Shri Shri Prataprao Pawar (Chairman, Bal Kalyan Sanstha), Shri Praveen Puri (Commissioner, Disability Welfare, Maharashtra State), Shri Balasaheb Suryavanshi (Chairman, ABGMVM), and renowned dancer Smt. Saudamini Rao as the chief guest. Additionally, Shri Vishwas Jadhav (Registrar, ABGMVM) and the institution’s manager, Aparna Panse, graced the occasion.
