How is a dental bridge placed?
Placing a dental bridge takes up to two appointments at Clear Creek Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. During the first appointment, the teeth on either side of the missing tooth are shaped to allow room for the dental bridge.

Once your dental bridge is ready, it will typically be cemented to the natural teeth on either side of the gap. The pontic, or false tooth, replaces the missing tooth. Dental crowns are cemented onto the natural teeth surrounding the gap to support the dental bridge.
How do I take care of my new dental bridge?
Care for your new dental bridge as you would your natural teeth. Brush twice daily and floss once daily to keep your bridge and surrounding teeth clean. This is very important, as the bridge relies on the health of the neighbouring teeth for support.
