Bologna, Italy, 15th January, 2014: [url=http://www.combinedbook.com/2015-bologna-childrens-book-fair_4_526.html] Bologna Children’s Book Fair [/url], the leading book show focused on promoting literature for children, along with BolognaFiere and AIE, Italian Publishers Association, organizes the third BOP – Bologna Prize for the best children’s publishers of the year in its upcoming 52nd year on 30th March 2015 at 6.30 pm in Bologna. This award has been initiated to pay tribute to leading publishers who have exhibited innovative ideas and creative practices in their editorial choices during the previous year’s edition of the fair.

It aims to highlight editorial projects, intellectual qualities, and professional skills of work produced by publishing houses throughout the world. Bologna Prize is designed to foster reciprocal knowledge and mutual exchange of ideas and thoughts among different nations, cultural identities, and diverse areas across the globe.

The prize-winners will be chosen by the publishing houses participating in the Children’s Book Fair in Bologna, on the basis of a series of nominations done by the international Publishers Associations, various cultural institutions representing book publishers worldwide, other than 2013 and 2014, and by book publishers themselves.

Six prizes shall be awarded at this popular Children’s Book Fair in Bologna, one for each geographical area: Asia, Europe, Africa, Central-South America, North America, and Oceania. All book exhibitors are invited to nominate seven publishing houses: two in their geographical region and one for each of the other areas. Nominations must be made by 15th January, 2015, by filling up the relevant form.

After 15th January, the official nominations will be declared and will be voted by book publishers exhibiting at 2015 fair themselves by following the instructions sent in due time by The Show office. The winners of the ‘Bologna Prize’ will be announced in Bologna during the prize-giving ceremony of the grand fair on Monday 30th March, 2015, at 6.30 pm at Service Centre at the ground floor.

All publishers and relevant professionals in the publishing industry should hurry up to nominate the most deserving children’s book publishers for ‘Bologna Prize’ by filling relevant form before 15th January, 2015.
