low carbon marine steel wire rope :carbon content 0.10% -- 0.30%, generally rolled Angle steel, channel steel, i-beam steel, steel pipe, steel strip or steel plate.It is used for making all kinds of structural parts, containers, boxes, stoves and farm tools, etc. (anchor chain steel is mainly CM490 and CM690, which is a low carbon steel, mainly containing manganese);

medium carbon marine steel wire rope: carbon content 0.30% -- 0.60%, the strength, hardness is better than low carbon steel, can be directly used hot rolled steel, cold drawn steel, can also be used after heat treatment, the most widely used, a large number of various mechanical parts;

high carbon marine  steel wire rope: carbon content 0.60% -- 1.70%, also known as tool steel, can be heat treatment, get very high hardness, can be made into drill, reamer, tap, etc.
