The Company which employs people with disabilities has been asked to stop any further plan sell or shut by the government of Scotland.

Scotland had nine Remploy factories in the beginning of the year and now, the sites of Aberdeen, Motherwell and Edinburgh are shut down.
Fergus Ewing, Enterprise minister said that the agreement for legal and technical terms is yet to be worked out but hopefully it would be brought to the parliament before Christmas. He added that it is difficult for the people who have worked in supported business to adjust in the mainstream companies. Mr. Ewing showed the critique of Remploy and government of UK’s approach later in the parliament.
He announced that Scotland has been aware of sixty one disabled people being unemployed as a result of shutting down of three factories. And there is more to come when Spring burn closes down to make another 45 disabled people unemployed. He has communicated with the ministers of UK regarding this issue and professed a desire to work towards keeping the employment intact. But the problem is that the process of commercial work is very secretive.
The UK Department for Work and Pensions also gave in their point of view that they were focused on supporting persons with disability and not on ineffective companies like Remploy. And for the same, they have set aside a budget of £320m for employing disabled people.
A spokesman stated that Remploy factories had employed around 255 people with disability last year with the worth of £4m. This money could be utilized to sustain 668,000 other such people. It was projected to government of Scotland to get involved with Remploy regarding this matter to help and aid the disabled staff that may detach from the organization.
In September, Remploy workers had gone for a 5-day strike in Glasgow and Chesterfield.
It is a follow-up of the nationwide strikes on the issue of closing down of a lot of factories. According to the union officials the buyers rejected the proposals for buying on the account of individuals with disability. Remploy officials responded to the strikes saying that it would not be a beneficial idea to gain jobs by the company in future. Around 24 Remploy factories have already been closed down in August and there have been plans to help workers find new jobs.
