Two year old Kyna launches a powerful crowd funding initiative on Charitywater.org. This charity focuses on providing rural communities with their first access to clean water as most of these people have never seen clean water before. This campaign throws a spotlight on global water crisis and raises awareness on the issue.

Kyna’s goal is to gather $10,000 by end of June 2015 and provide a small community of 500 people access to safe drinking water. WHO/UNICEF reports that, globally around 4,100 kids die every day due to lack of clean water and sanitation. This equates to a child losing his or her life in every 20 second. 90% of deaths that result from diarrheal disease occur in children under the age of five. Most of us have never really been thirsty. We've never had to leave our houses and walk five miles to fetch water. We simply turn on the tap, and water comes out. Clean. Yet there are 748 million people on the planet who don't have access to clean water.

Quite a number of people have come forward in order to support this initiative. A recent donor of the campaign states, “Truly impressed Kyna! This is an awesome and lovely effort of yours. Kudos from my end to Kyna and family for a great initiative.”

Kyna’s parents have thought of this wonderful initiative on her birthday. This birthday fundraiser is going to change lives of people across the world, hundreds of lives will be saved simply by providing access to clean drinking water. The campaign is going to be live until end of June 2015. All money raised for Charity: Water will be sent directly to field to fund the water projects.
