Mumbai, India (July 18, 2016) – Callido Learning LLP, a publisher of digital resources for cognitive skills development, has entered into a distribution partnership with Balani Infotech, a New Delhi based Library and Information Service Company. As per the recently signed representation agreement between the two organizations, Balani Infotech now exclusively represents Callido products to institutions of higher learning in India.

Founded as a company that develops and publishes interactive digital content for the development of key cognitive skills in the K12 and higher education sectors, Callido’s management has successfully pursued an expansion strategy that draws on the strengths of partner organizations in key segments.

Indeed, the management at Callido recognized early on that a startup venture in the education segment in India needs to forge strong partnerships to scale rapidly and compete effectively. “We are first-and-foremost a product development company with a single-minded focus on building high quality learning programmes for our customers. So we rely on a strong partner network to bring our solutions to schools, colleges and universities” notes Chinmaya Kulkarni, a Callido co-founder.

Representation arrangements of such nature allow both organizations to pursue their core competencies – they allow distributors to leverage their networks and bring the latest innovations to their customers while, at the same time, giving publishers the ability to focus on product development while quicky reaching their products to a larger audience.
