Punk rock has greatly evolved over the decades, and the latest musicians associated with this genre have only worked to expand the scope of this music style much more than before. One of the most notable punk rock musicians of the modern era is Jeff Barbare. Jeff Barbare or J-F Doyon is a professional singer songwriter, musician and performer of the punk rock music genre. Better known as Jeff Barbare, J-F Doyon was born 1985 and grew up in the Saint-Grégoire city of Québec. During his early years, he was a part of CÉGEP of Drummondville where he studied music and perfected his skills as a bassist. He then went on to learn and master a number of other musical instruments as well, such as the electric guitar, the accoustique and the keyboard. This talented artist is all geared up to release his third album.

Over the years, he experimented with various music styles which only helped to expand his musical base greatly. He also developed his skills as a singer and learnt to be an excellent drum programmer. Jeff also introduced new styles and influences to make the sound of his own punk rock style unique. He has also performed with numerous other bands and musicians in Quebec as well as in other countries.

Some of these musicians include Pine Street, Once Named Sam, Jelly, Sugar Mash, Chansonnier Barbare and Magik Peppers (Tribute band to the Red Hot Chili Peppers). He played with guest musicians Sylvain Boulais and Marshall Simard, who played guitar on the track "Lady Demeter 2013". All his other works were produced by Jeff Barbare himself. Apart from music, Jeff is also passionate about graphic design and visual art. Currently he is working on his third album. He is also a reputable chef cook with the Saint-Grégoire golf club.
