An International Book Event Called "007 Bookbond" Launched At Qurino Theatre Rome On 14th October

Rome (November 14, 2014) - An important cultural event took place at Rome on October, 2014. The Italian Book Club hosted the special 007 BookBond event on October 14 this year at the beautiful Bistrot Quirino Theatre in Rome. Along with the prestigious guests who represent the Italian culture, there were seven rewarded authors from four continents: Europe, USA, Asia, and Oceania. The Italian Book Club and the club’s renowned president Federico Conforto have organized a cultural show with a unique formula that presented film, dance, music, civic values, literature and books, following the original idea of Alessio Follieri and conducted by Massimiliano Porena and Selene Casamassima.

The beginning was filled with emotions during the book presentation made by Alessio Follieri, who unveiled his latest novel called "TI RACCONTO DI LEI", in which the readers will get acquainted with an extraordinary woman called Stella. When the RAI journalist, Roberto Amen, asked Alessio Follieri about Stella, the author’s answer caused great emotions in the audience. They understood not only that the book is based on a true story, but also that the Stella’s protagonist presented among the audience. This emotional book presentation ended with the live song named after and inspired by the novel played by LArtefice pop rock band. The “Believe School of Arts” amazed all with the wonderful choreography themes, which accompanied the song. LArtefice was awarded by the Italian Book Club for their impressive book to music transformation ability.

The loobying phenomenon that is interesting to all people about how big pharmaceutical companies influence doctors to impose their drugs was presented in the "IL VENDITORE DI MEDICINE" film presentation, whose director is the famous Antonio Morabito. The President Federico Conforto awarded Morabito for creating a film of social value. The event touched the issue of the Arab world with the book "Shadows of Algiers", presented by the member of Italian Parliament, Souad Sbai honored by the Italian Book Club for her contribution to improving the "dialogue between cultures". Among the other important authors that came to this event from abroad was the Zimbabwean guest Getrude Matshe with her book about Nelson Mandela, “Mandela the Ripple Effect of a Giant's Fall”.

The book tells about author’s life experience, while she was growing up with the life lessons and hope for independence presented in the life of symbolic for all African people Nelson Mandela, 21st Century hero. The special "Project Management Award" was awarded by the Italian Book Club to Getrude Matshe. Nelson Mandela's incarceration became a symbol for the state of the lives of all African people in the colonized African countries and his emancipation in 1976 gave hope to those still struggling for William Riegler in his book "Living my Life ecstatic" describes his own experience, such as teaching Japanese children, organizing the charity concert for 2011 Tsunami sufferers, and many more. Other rewarded names were UK authors Esther Austin with her book "Wounded Lives, Wounded Healers" and Gabriella Guglielminotti Trivel with the book "Anctartic Odyssey A New Beginning", where she describes her journey to Antarctica made on 2008, Egyptian author Amr Badawy with the unique book "Couch Traveler in Iran", and more. Alessio Follieri will be awarded by the Italian Book Club on December 5th , 2014 as “ARTISTIC DIRECTOR” at the club of the Chamber of Deputies - House Italian Parliament, where many celebrities and famous guests will attend the Gala Dinner.
