CDR Plagiarism Checking and Removal

Posted January 3, 2018 by alexapowel

Plagiarism is not allowed in Competency Demonstration Report (CDR). It is clearly mentioned in the Migration Skilled Assessment Booklet which is published by Engineers Australia,that; “The CDR must be all your own work”.

Any form of copied information, material, and data either from published material (i.e. Books, Websites, Internet, Journals, Magazines, etc.) or from previously submitted CDR from someone else is not acceptable. Plagiarism detection software are used to identify any copied data.

Many engineers are facing this issue and it causes them wastage of time, money, and effort. While preparing Competency Demonstration Reports (CDR) our Professional Writers take full care of the Plagiarism and don’t include any information that is copied.

Following are the examples of comments by the assessing authority in case of Plagiarism is found;

“Analysis of all three of your Career Episodes show a significant amount of copying from a wide range of sources. I would like you to explain how this has happened. If I am satisfied with your explanation, I will require you to rewrite each of your episodes so that the copying is reduced to as close to zero as you can make it. If there is copying in your Summary Statement then you will need to do it again.”

“The ‘Introduction’, ‘Background’ and ‘Summary’ sections contain considerable texts copied directly from internet sources and published research papers. Please re-submit your CE # 1 with content written in your own words“.

“The ‘Background’, and ‘Personal Engineering Activity’ sections contain copied test from internet sources and published research papers. Please re-submit CE # 3 with content written in your own words“.

Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) should be plagiarism free and you are expected to write all three Career Episodes in first person narrative, using your own words. CDR Samples should only be used as a guidance. Use your own writing to get positive assessment of your Qualification from Engineers Australia.

We recommend all Engineers that please, please, please, don’t copy any CDR material from the Sample CDRs either obtained from any website or from colleagues. The reason is as soon as any CDR report is assessed by Engineers Australia, it is stored in their database and in future if the similarity is found with an already assessed CDR report your CDR will automatically be rejected. Secondly, the use of Plagiarism detection software is the standard practice and they take few seconds to highlight the copied material from any published source.

Use our Plagiarism Detection and Plagiarism Removal Services to check if there is any plagiarized content in your CDR and to remove the exact sentences.
