Voice Over IP (VOIP) Technology

VoIP is a technology that allows you to make voice/telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular phone line. It converts voice calls from analog to digital.

Apart from the software, you'll need a microphone, a sound card, speakers and of course an Internet connectivity to make use of this facility.
