Akadema is proud to announce the signing of LHT Kenny Rosenberg. Kenny was drafted in the 8th round of the 2016 First Year Player Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. He is on the verge of making his MLB debut for the Tampa Bay Rays. Last year, Kenny played for the Rays Double-A Montgomery Biscuits and Triple-A Durham Bulls. His 2019 season proved that he is an upcoming prospect for the Rays. He was 11-4 with a 3.29 ERA and 1.31 WHIP. President Lawrence Gilligan said on the addition of Kenny Rosenberg “Kenny is an upcoming prospect for the Rays. We’re excited for him to make the Rays organization and become a reliable pitcher for them.” Look out for Kenny to make a huge impact for the Rays this season.
