Cleveland, OH October 29, 2019- Producer of energy efficient destratification fans, the mission of Air-Row Fans is to bring energy efficiency to existing HVAC Systems in large buildings. Air-Row fans will be a part of two state-of-the-art schools set to be constructed in the Cleveland area. The F-18Round open ceiling fan and the LA-248 grid ceiling fan will be featured, both of them high quality, industrial sized destratification fans that go well with the school’s mission to modernize the design and improve efficiency. Air-Row Fans were called for in the design of both the elementary and high school in North Royalton, OH, showing their reputation as reliable and energy efficient solutions for HVAC systems.

In “destratifying” the warmer air trapped at the ceiling, Air-Row Fans minimize the existing HVAC system’s energy use when needing to cycle air throughout the space. According to Tom Noonan, president and founder of Air Row Fans, “Air-Row Fans run on just 23 watts. Compare that to the horsepower of a large building’s HVAC system and the savings can be tremendous.”

All this adds up to a better performing system. Air-Row destratification fans do what HVAC systems can’t do in helping building’s to regulate temperature and adjust to outside climate. By breaking up “trapped” air at the ceiling, Air-Row Fans circulates the building’s air once every hour, helping treat the air and eliminating staleness. In chilly Ohio winters and humid summers, Air-Row Fans hope to help eliminate the loss of heat or AC, adding to their ability to maximize efficiency. In the process, the HVAC system is able to cycle down, creating significant energy savings.

With both the elementary and high schools aiming to improve their layout and energy efficiency, it is no wonder they chose Air-Row fans to complement their HVAC system. With the growing public demand and need for environmentally sound choices, Air-Row Fans help large industrial sized buildings improve their efficiency and overall carbon footprint.

The education sector leads a national trend in building design, as more and more institutions call for destratification fans to help reduce their carbon footprint. Air-Row Fans has similarly partnered with Northern-Indiana-based Goshen College in supplying destratification fans on its campus. Goshen College is one of 91 charter members of the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), dedicated to reducing their carbon footprint.
