Air purifiers are essential especially for allergy or asthma sufferers, to clean the air we breathe.

Air purifiers use replacement filter for fresh air to filter out debris and dust particles to reduce the number of allergens in the air. As the air filter accumulates more debris over time, the air purifier's filtration capacity lessens. Simply check our filter by opening the air purifier and looking at the filter. Instructions on locating your filter can be found in the original manufacturer's manual.

Most manufacturers recommend changing our filter every 3-6 months for optimal performance. It is recommended for allergy and asthma sufferers as well as those who want cleaner air to change their filter every 30-60 days. Most air purifiers have filters that need to be replaced occasionally. I was wondering if there any side effects of not changing the filters as specified by the manufacturer. As I did my research, I found that are multiple things that will happen when the filters on an air purifier.

When we don’t change the filters on an air purifier, the air quality in our home gets worse, the electricity costs of running our air purifier increase, the air in our home becomes stale and stagnant, our air purifier becomes a breeding ground for germs and mould and we might be stressing the fan motor on our air purifier leading it to work erratically.

Most home air purifiers have Alpine parts tackle a wide variety of air pollutants. Dust, dander, pollen, skin flakes, aerosols and even bacteria and viruses. The thing about the filters on an air purifier is that they have a limited capacity.

HEPA filters on an air purifier are used for the removal of dust, dander, pollen and other particulate pollutants. A HEPA filter of Air Purifier Repair Center has tightly bunched synthetic fibbers inside which trap these pollutants as air passes through them. Once the fibbers inside the filter reach their maximum pollutant load, they are unable to trap any more pollutants. As a result, small particulate pollutants, which are the most dangerous will get through freely and come straight back into our room.
