For the last forty years Afghans have had no peace thanks to Soviet-Union Russia and American occupation.

One war comes to an end, only for another one to start. People from Afghanistan and Ukraine are caught up in this 21st century bloodshed.

Wars cause wounds and loss to those involved; it takes many years to heal from these wounds.

In Canada, we have completely shut out refugees from Ukraine and Afghanistan through the delay of our visa process. Meanwhile, we are still trying to address the situation back on the war grounds, but it appears there is no one to talk to.

Peace is needed all over the world, not just in Afghanistan and Ukraine. Prayer for peace.

These wars have brought tears, bloodshed, and misery to everyone across the world.

Prime Minister Trudeau has not yet taken action to stabilize the situation in Ukraine, but it appears that he may already have left this problem for his successor.

Wars are far from being over in their books.
