At the height of the war in Afghanistan, Canadian forces relied on Afghan interpreters to success gains on the ground against once known Taliban as the enemy.

They the interpreters provided translation services in Pashto-Dari languages to military personnel.
However, these Afghan interpreters provided misleading information not once but concurrently to forces who would then go into villages and kill Afghan citizens. The war was conducted in Afghan villages using Afghan interpreters technique.

Canada’s government has left the war after the Liberals coming into power. These allegations are clear in the media reports including former President Hamid Karzai blamed foreign forces for killing innocent people. The agenda was never to bring peace to Afghanistan only cause destruction.

Today, that same faction, the Taliban is near to becoming an ally and becoming a recognized political group across the globe.

It is recommended that Ottawa rethink plans for Afghan interpreters. Although, there is mounting pressure, however, we need to consider the reality and accept only those who are deserving.
Canada has also backlog on immigration files since the Coronavirus outbreak in March 2020.

The clear allegation against them are is that no peace was ever brought to Afghanistan and the fighting in Afghanistan remains ongoing to this day.
