With the increasing trend in affordable new construction, he then moved the primary mission of Dominion Homes into the affordable new construction market. His subdivisions included Vista Norte, Greenbriar Colony, and White Oak Plantation.

Formerly employed in Gulf Coast Management Company, David B. Scheffler always worked for providing the affordable housing for single families. He refurbished, remodeled and managed the foreclosed housing to convert it into the single-family housing. Thus, he came forward as a helping hand for the lenders when the real estate recession was at its peak in the 80s.

Being a philanthropist, David B. Scheffler contributes towards March of Dimes. Through his generosity, he emphasizes the education of medical professionals and the public about the best practices. David is advocating for their health each and every day through March of Dimes. Besides this, he has also been volunteering and donating towards cancer society and diabetes foundation. During his leisure time, he loves to do fishing and swimming.

Pertaining to his education credentials, David completed his BBA in Management and Finance from Texas Christian University.
