Being the former President and Founder of Dominion Homes, David B. Scheffler started with the construction of custom homes in the cities of Houston and Bellaire. The growing need to have affordable new construction enabled him to transform his primary mission of Dominion Homes into the affordable new construction market. The subdivisions included Vista Norte, Greenbriar Colony, and White Oak Plantation.

Completing his BBA in Management and Finance from Texas Christian University, David B. Scheffler is currently employed as the President of Venture REO Services. Adding to the information, this company performs mortgage field contracting services for servicing companies and financial institutions. Here, David is solely responsible for managing all day to aspects and sales for the businesses.

In 1985, David served as the President and Founder of a full-service property management company, Gulf Coast Management Company. He refurbished, remodeled and managed the foreclosed housing, thus helping the lenders with their inventories of single-family housing.

Scheffler served as the key builder and worked in association with Houston Housing Partnership, HUD, Harris County, and the State of Texas. Post gaining adequate experience, David constructed and sold hundreds of homes in the Houston metro area. Being highly reputable in the building community, he has a better understanding of these markets.
