New York, USA (October 26, 2012)– The Michelle Danner Acting Studio in Los Angeles is excited to announce the grand opening of its New York conservatory, which offers a six and twelve-month Well Rounded Actor’s Training Intensive.

The goal of the Michelle Danner Acting School is to provide a working knowledge of all prominent methods in the American tradition of acting, and guide the student toward discovering the combination that most resonates with them. Techniques come from the following schools of acting: Meisner, Strasberg, Adler, Hagen, Chekov, & the Stanislavsky Technique.

Michelle Danner has coached some of Hollywood's most accomplished actors, including Chris Rock, Penelope Cruz, James Franco, Salma Hayek, Zooey Deschanel, Isla Fisher, Christian Slater and more. She has directed and acted in over 30 plays and musicals in Los Angeles and New York, and she has directed two films. The acting school in New York offers three, six, and twelve month Well-Rounded Actor’s Training Intensive programs, and it also sponsors international actors with their M1 visas.

The curriculum at the Michelle Danner LA Acting Schools and New York Acting School includes The Actor's Golden Box. This premier acting class is a two-day workshop that is held monthly, and it teaches the actor how to create vivid, fleshed-out and interesting characters through an intense and emotional workshop. Technique exercises and lectures show how to build provocative and complex back stories by opening the actor’s instrument emotionally and finding triggers and psychological gestures in your work. For both beginners and seasoned actors, the class breaks down the technique used at the New York school of acting.

Recurring acting classes at the school include Auditioning for Film & Television: On-Camera, Scene Study Beginning/Intermediate/Advanced, Improv Workout, Casting Director Workshop, and Voice Intensives Level 1 & Level 2. Students will also become familiar with the business of acting with Breaking into the Industry, an acting workshops for those aspiring to be acting professionals.
