Why Synchronisation with dg and solar: Nowadays, solar energy plants are Necessary to utilize Renewable energy in the Industrial, Commercial & Residential segments. Generally solar energy plant interface With Grid common, but once we mention DG so we fail to synchronize solar plant with DG source. But we have a successful solution for it, and that we introduce it in the Global market as a DG-PV Synchronizing controller with Zero export facility in both sources Grid and DG. we introduce it as

Why We Require Synchronization with dg and solar

Solar-Grid Synch. The system, the inverters start with the reference Voltage and Frequency of Grid source. we will see two possible conditions now,

The load is usually quite the PV grid supply
The possibility that load are often but PV grid supply
Condition-1 & 2(For GRID Supply)
During the condition 1, we don't see any issues if everything works fine. But during the conditions 2, the facility generated from PV is going to be greater than the load requirements and hence there's an opportunity that this current export into ac line of Grid. Not an issues if State Discom Authority Allows to export it to in Grid so we will get Revert for generation, but in a number of states Authority doesn’t allow to Export it to grid so we will limit generation from inverter by using our Zero Export device facility inbuilt with DG-PV Synchronizing Controller with Grid Zero Export.

Why we Require Solar just in case of DG?

To synchronize a grid-connected inverter with DG during an influence cut. So we try to consume all the facilities generated from solar and reduce its dependence on DG.

We usually consider solar as a backup for power cuts and also consider payback by selling excess generated. Now the sole solution within the market all we all know that the hybrid inverters, but as market scenarios, these are very expensive compared to normal inverters. But what about installations with existing grid inverters? Most of the doe not conscious of these conditions but we have a successful solution for this issue.

What we propose here, the inverters must be connected to a standard bus bar. within the common Bus-bar, all the sources and loads are connected. During the condition, the DG turns on to get reference voltage and frequency to start out up the solar inverters. Once the inverter is ON the load is going to be supplied by both inverter and DG sets.

Let’s now consider that the inverter has turned ON using the DG sets reference voltage and current. I see two possible conditions again in DG source,

The load greater than the PV generator supply
The possibility that load are often but PV generator supply

Condition-1 & 2 (For DG Supply)

During the condition 1, I don't see any issues if everything works as per load requirement. But during condition 2, the facility generated from PV is going to be greater than the load requirements and hence here possibility that this current is going to be export to the ac line of the bus bar / DG sets (stator of DG sets). we will expect an increase in AC voltage and frequency- above a critical level. If this happens, this condition can trip the inverter thanks to over-voltage/frequency protection circuits. Now we've not consumed power from the solar and thus we've to work the DG sets. This condition also damages the vital parts of the generator.

Conclusion

To overcome this such a problem, we should always have proper Devices by which we will prevent our DG against this reverse power issue. And additionally, we could have the ability to limit the Solar Generation. So we will provide in particular issues in one Device as earlier we introduce the DG-PV Synchronizing controller with Zero export facility.
