We love the idea of Fossil Island, the volcano, the cool enemies and stuff you can find not to mention the rocks you can break. But of course, with anything, there are teething problems and so far while the idea of Fossil Island is really cool. Some players have said that it is not really worth spending much time here as you cannot really make that much money here or even get a ton of cool loot. Well Jagex, slowly, but surely have been adding some buffs to the game. Of course until the come out and officially say what everything is. Us folks in the community will have to just figure it out, but things do seem to be generally more profitable now. The most notable is the general XP which has been upped by 40 percent so while you may not make as much as you can in other areas, it at least feels more worthwhile now. We would not be surprised though if they upped it even more at some point.

Buffs To Fossil Island In Old School Runescape

One other thing that has been noted is that you cannot join a game that is in progress or someone cannot join your game. We like this as it stops people from trying to leach onto your game and jump in at the end. Also, it is a heck of a lot harder to fall in the lava! This is something that we really like as it was far too easy to do.

So while this is just the first round of buffs to Fossil Island. We like what Jagex is doing and would love to know what other things they have changed. If you speak up in the comments below.
