She also advises that students should make sure to hand their assignments in on time. Many lecturers see being late on assignments as a lack of respect and that you are not taking their subject or your studies seriously. Therefore, they might reject a late admission or subtract marks for being late.

She also states that being involved on campus can be beneficial and will help you to have a more fulfilling experience. “It is only a few short years that you are a student and you should make the most of this time. So, work hard and be involved in campus experiences. You will find that the networks you form here will be beneficial later on in your career,” she shares on the last bit of advice.
