Having been successful with us for nearly two decades, we partnered with them again to tackle this fastening process challenge. 

Their manufacturing /production assembly line faced issues to identify problem areas and analyze the process from one central location. So the DC Tools Division of ABS commissioned a solution through AMT Multi-Spindle with Controllers along with a ready-to-install assembly system for the Differential/Axle assembly manufacturing unit that provides periodic data to monitor and eliminate unnecessary buffers that are negatively impacting the bottom line & ensure product uniformity.

ACTION TORQUE SENSOR FOR HIGHEST PRECISION: Fixture nutrunners from AMT stand for the highest precision during the assembly process. That is why we prefer to use an action torque sensor to record the torque in the control circuit. Here the torque is measured as close as possible to the hex of the bolt, this means directly on the drive shaft. Any changes in effectiveness in the angle or offset drives due to wear therefore have no influence on the tightening torque. If the tightening torque is achieved, the assembly process will be executed securely independent of the mechanical condition of the drive.
SMX300:
The SMX300 takes over the function of the master control with multi-channel screw systems. Up to 64 SMX100 controls can be connected.
