Willem De Cooning: The Beacon in Abstract Expressionist Art

Willem de Cooning was famous and skillful painter from the abstract expressionist art school. This talented and successful artist transformed each Blank Canvas into a thought provoking work of abstract expressionist art.

 
Originally from Rotterdam, Holland however later settling in Long Island, USA, Willem de Kooning (1904-1997) was a significant painter and a very famous artists of the abstract expressionist art alongside different craftsmen; Jackson Pollock, Franz Kline, Arshile Gorky. Many popular artists today have got their inspiration from him.

In 1938 de Kooning, impacted by Arshile Gorky, drew out the artistic creations 'Two Men Standing', 'Situated Figure' and 'Man' that portray male figures.
