November 03, 2017 - A book on fine art photography, “Wildlife in Wild Lands: Photography for Conservation” is about diverse wildlife in the southern part of South America, and people who are passionate in wildlife conservation in those areas. The book has been penned by Laura Crawford Williams, who has been working for 17 years as a professional wildlife photographer, and has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign for it on Kickstarter.

The book on wild life wild lands consists of 244 pages, which consists of the hard work of Williams of 8 years in a journey of 275,000 km in a few stunning landscapes of the world. She traveled the region with German Ambrosetti, her business partner, and the duo examined the most remote areas of nations like Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. The book helps many nongovernmental organizations, foundations, educators and researchers.

The book traces Laura’s journey from November, 2007 when she tripped to southern South America for the first time. With Ambrosetti guiding her, she took photos in Argentina in the Pampas grasslands. The two worked with many organizations and people to safeguard threatened wild species in Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and other nations. The book is the first one that consists of a diverse range of animals present in the Southern Cone, many of which are obscure to the other parts of the globe. It has 6 chapters, penned in Spanish and English, and comprises of one hundred and fifty photos displaying 113 varied species, each of them having interesting captions detailing them.
