October 05, 2017 - Azhaar and Global Wave is in the works for recording the first ever album with the label Global Wave, which is a top name in bringing jazz textures, funky grooves, world rhythms and more that appeal to the heart. Azhaar and Global Wave have just launched a Crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to gather financial support for the Original Love, the new album.

Azhaar is a versatile vocalist and jazz violinist, and became popular as a frontline singer for Sirius B, the wonderful Sirius B from Brazil that is into Jazz and Samba fusion music. She is a singer, composer and violinist, specializing in world music and jazz. She is presently working with ‘Global Wave’, her new band and would like to refer to the music of Original Love as “Nu World Jazz”.

Azhaar’s 'Original Love' is her creative response to trips in South and Central America. Her life significantly changed a few years back and her partnership with her band Sirius B, her home and her in-house recording studio ended abruptly. She set out on a journey to another continent and saw various other perspectives. As she walked on in life and started respecting men and women from other nations, she began to find newer ways of existence.

Azhaar‘s new thoughts, experiences and philosophies have found expression in her new album, Original Love. Azhaar has worked with some of the best musicians from across the world in the project. The tracks in her new album are centered on the themes of the ability of humans to heal themselves and the Earth.
