Remington College Mobile Campus offers new Medical Assisting Hybrid Diploma Program

Medical Assisting Hybrid Diploma Program now enrolling students

 
MOBILE, Ala. (March 25, 2020) – According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, healthcare occupations are expected to add more jobs than any other area, with about 1.9 million jobs added from 2018 to 2028.1
People in Mobile now have a new option to prepare to enter this growing field.2 Remington College Mobile Campus is expanding its offerings to students with a new Medical Assisting Hybrid Diploma Program. Enrollment is now open, and classes are starting soon.
The Medical Assisting Hybrid Diploma Program aims to allow students to get on the path to a career in healthcare in as few as nine months.3
The hybrid format allows students to take online classes while still being able to meet face-to-face with their instructors and interact with classmates. Students complete eight classroom periods and a one-month externship module.4
Through coursework, students practice patient preparation, taking vital signs, preparing lab samples, filing medical records and more.
Course curriculum includes:
• Health Science Procedures
• Pharmacology
• Clinical Procedures
• Capstone and Certification
• Clinical Experience
Upon completion, students receive a diploma in medical assisting. The program aims to prepare students for an entry-level position in public or private practice healthcare.2
