Landscaping Trends, which ones are right for you

There are so many possibilities! Start small, go big or anywhere in between, you can't go wrong!

Water elements are still one of the top trends still going strong. The sound of water trickling down a waterfall or even a small pond with a fountain or two is so relaxing you might never want to go back inside! Not to mention it might bring some of your local wildlife to your backyard.

Another trend that isn't going anywhere is an inviting party spot. Envision multiple levels of pavers in a decorative layout with designated entertaining in mind. You can have a built in kitchen area where you can feed your family and friends without running in and out of your house all day.

How about a bar/tiki area for the adults when the kids are playing in the yard? Tropical or classic. You can't go wrong either way!

No yard is complete these days without a relaxing fire feature where you can make smores and roast hotdogs with the family or just hang out with friends.

The design possibilities are endless and with all of the options in concrete, you don't need to settle for a boring basic pour. You can have textured, stained, stamped concrete that gives your space eye appeal and depth that brings even more value to your home.

Must haves to think about is which lighting options will bring out the best features in your design. Don't forget to have plenty of places for your guests to sit and relax and of course bring in plants and flowers that are easy to care for and bring an inviting feel to the space. If your yard gets a lot of sun, consider adding a pergola or even a covered patio with a fan.

If all of this seems overwhelming to you, search the internet for ideas, see what appeals to you and give it your own twist or work with a concrete contractor that can help you design your project from start to finish.
