The new “PWC Departing” video shows how to depart from a dock using a personal watercraft’s shift, throttle, and steering.

Viewers will also learn how to depart from a shoreline without damaging the propulsion unit.

Also featured are tips for dealing with environmental factors including wind and current.

The “PWC Departing” video is the first episode of a six-part series on PWC operations, and is also being distributed by America’s Boating Channel through popular social media including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

America’s Boating Channel will launch a new title each week through April, as most Americans prepare for the 2018 recreational boating season. All video programming on the channel is offered at no charge.
