In anticipation of an eventual opening of the campuses for on-ground classes, Centurion University has designed and tested a unique Hybrid-Flexible (Hy-Flex) model that allows for simultaneous delivery of in-person and online classes in a safe and effective manner. Leveraging its pro-active investments in various digital technologies, Centurion University has already started its new semester in an online mode whilst keeping the campus fully ready for an opening as soon as it is safe and allowed by the Government/regulators.
It has developed detailed procedures, guidelines and measures, in line with government rules and recommendations, to ensure utmost safety for faculty, staffs, students and other stakeholders.
These measures include a complete ban on entry without masks, mandatory registration on the Arogya Setu app, frequent temperature checks and sanitization. Meeting facilities have been created right at the entrance gate, so as to prevent visitors from entering into the campuses without sufficient reasons to do so. In this way, entry to the campus buildings is being avoided as much as possible.
All visitors are registered and tracked via an app, thus ensuring minimal direct contact in a safe manner.
For students, faculties and staffs, the institution is sparing no effort to ensure safety from the pandemic. CUTM has set up hands-free sanitizing and washing facilities to ensure utmost hygiene. The hostels and classrooms have been re-configured to ensure safety in living as well as proper social distancing.
Even security personnel are being trained to make sure that they are able to monitor all the important parameters for safety, such as checking the masks and temperature of every visitor. CUTM is also establishing a stronger connection with all the local authorities, so as to make sure that any instance of Covid19 infection is reported quickly to them, and ensure fast and suitable action for the same.
The institution has also made course materials, lectures, etc online-based so that students can have the safest study experience throughout.
