Musa Makanga, professionally known as Promoter Musa, is a Ugandan music promoter, artist, Internet entrepreneur, digital marketer. He is the founder and CEO of PM Music Publishing Ltd.

Promoter Musa was born in 1999 in Kampala, Uganda. He grew up in Bwondha, Mayuge district where he was raised by his mother. Promoter Musa attended Jereth nursery and primary school for his primary level and Equator collage school for his secondary level.

Promoter Musa started his music career at the age of 17 as an online music promoter, mostly requesting for A Pass’ music because of the great love he has for the singer. He has worked with a variety of top Ugandan musicians and producers such as A Pass, Grace Nakimera, Herbert Skillz and others.

Promoter Musa released his debut single in 2019 titled "Dem Fi Know" featuring Fm Kid. He featured Master G UG on a single titled "Onkuba (Remix)". In February 2020, Promoter Musa started PM Music Publishing Ltd, an online music distribution company in 2020, to distribute and publish music for musicians and record labels. PM Music Publishing Ltd offers digital music and video distribution, royalty collection, marketing, lyrics publishing, google profile branding, PR coverage, social media verifications, and more for creators.

On 27 April 2020, He released his debut EP (Extended Play) titled “The Beginning Of My Journey” featuring Fm Kid, Master G UG and Kvan. On 23 May 2020, Promoter Musa published “Gooba” Lyrics by an international rapper 6ix9ine which are shown in the google feeds immediately one searches about the song. The song debuted at No.3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart.

On 28 May 2021, Promoter Musa released a single titled “Mama Sita”, featuring Tanzanian-born Irish musician Mayestron. The song hit 1 Million streams[6] in a period of three weeks on Audiomack from the date of its release and became the first song to reach that milestone in Uganda. On 23 August 2021, Promoter Musa broke a record by becoming the first Ugandan artist to achieve 2 Million streams on Audiomack. This milestone becomes one of his greatest accomplishment as an artist in Uganda.
