The Birla Temple of Jaipur (Rajasthan) India was constructed by the famous business tycoon the Birla group of Companies. The Birla temple was constructed in the year 1985. The idol of Lord Lakshmi Narayana was invoked in the year of 1985 and the temple was opened to the public in the same year.

The temple was totally constructed with a white stone that is the white marble. As the colour of the marble is white it gives a soothing feel to eyes and soul. The temple can be visited in any season. This temple is dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narayana, hence this temple is also known as Lakshmi Narayana Temple.

The temple shows totally three domes which represent three different religious approaches. The exteriors and the interiors of the Birla temple are mind-blowing. From the Birla temple, one can have the view of Motidungari temple. The interiors of the temple are totally carved out of multicoloured stained of glass carvings of various Hindu deities are eye-catching.

The main deity of the Birla temple Lord Lakshmi Narayana made of a unique white stone which gives a unique appearance of the lord which gives a pleasant feeling. The idol of Lord Lakshmi Narayana is made of a white stone unlike the others as most of the idols of Lord Lakshmi Narayana were been made of black stone. But the Birla Mandir exhibits the idol of the lord in Swetha (white) colour.
