The After Images Art Counseling Program
The Center for Hospice Care offers individual and group programs to provide education and support for those currently grieving the loss of a loved one.
The grief and bereavement services are available to anyone within the vicinity of the agency. The services are free. Its programs include grief support for adults, children, and teenagers. It also has Camp Evergreen, an annual day and weekend camp for youths aged 6 to 12 and teenagers 13 to 17, respectively.
The organization recently announced its lineup of support services for July through September on its website.
The After Images Art Counseling Program offered by the organization gives grieving individuals an outlet for all their issues. This gives them a creative, expressive, and experiential counseling experience.
Counseling Services
TheCenter for Hospice Care says that grief has no timetable; it is an individual process and a natural part of life. The organization further knows that different people will prefer different ways in getting support.
As such, the center offers a variety of counseling services that will fit the individual’s needs.
The organizations shares, “Many people don’t realize that our Grief and Bereavement services are available to anyone in our eight-county service area . . . you don’t have to had a patient cared for under our hospice services. We are here for everyone—those with a history with Center for Hospice Care and those without.”
